I surprised my eldest daughter with a room makeover for her 12th birthday this year. She was very happy with the result but I have to say that it hasn't looked the same since that day. I am so glad I took photos. My darling daughter is a chip off the proverbial block, rather arty, very creative and, consequently, has several projects on the go at any given time. The consequence of this (and a lack of suitable work space), is a not so tidy bedroom.

I loved reading your blog & can SOOOOO relate to your mag addiction, I am lucky though I work in a big newsagency so I get the benefits of reading everything with out having to buy them all!!!!

Hi Ange... just found you through Andrea's blog hey it's great to find a fellow Kiwi! Love what you have done with your daughters room know what you mean about the mess, when I re did my daughters room I said to her it would be *nice* if it stayed this tidy & uncluttered, yeah right no such luck! Am about to repaint my sons room he is now in my daughters old room & the walls are *pink*!!!! gotta go I think! How beautiful are the NZ House & Garden Mags, I bought the latest issue when I was home last month & have read it from cover to cover, now just need to find it over here....
