Kitchen Before and After.

Here are some photos of our kitchen now that I have finished tiling the splashback (backsplash;o)). I am having troubles with the photo uploader (anyone else having their photos appear as numbers and letters or is it just me?) so I can't put any text between each photo. I guess it speaks for itself. Maybe you could play "Spot the Difference" . The finishing touch will be a light fitting and possibly some sort of pelmet over the window.

Ange, I love your counter top. I think makes the room very chic. What stone is it made out of? The nice cool surface is perfect for preparing pastry on - not that you'd want to spread flour and mess all over your lovely kitchen :-)

Hello Ange! About the photo...it's not dificult at all. If you have a camera with a nice lense, you can either set on auto to to that, and get close as much as possible. I would say, 80cm apart. Then take the picture! Simple, isn't it? Those ones I had to set on Manual, since i'm taking the course, and it is a bit more complicated because you really need to work with the number on the screen of the camera. But try auto and see how it goes. Let me know if you have any questions, ok?

What a great window you have to look out when you do your dishes! I love the tile and the clean, fresh look of the kitchen. I am going for a white kitchen soon too - you do not want to see the before right now! Afters will hopefully do it justice. To be continued a good 5 months.....
