White Spray Paint :o)

I had fun with my can(s) of white spray paint last week although I don't particularly enjoy the overspray up the nostrils, but enough about my nasal orifices (that is the plural for orifice. It is pronounced orificees - I know this is true because I googled it).
Moving right along.....
This urn was $8 at my favourite treasure store.

Here it is before in all it's green grecian glory (love me some alliteration)

... and after

A pretty timber mirror before....

and after.

Actually I just realised I didnt spray this mirror. I painted it grey and then dry brushed lightly with white paint.

Another pretty white painted mirror alongside my $10 tureen.

This beauty (below) has been awaiting a coat of paint for quite some time. Finally it's day to shine has come.....

I have propped it up in the living room. I would love to know what you all think. Do you like the white mirror....

or the one below????

I am leaning towards the white.
Notice I still have to finish painting one of the lamp tables. Oh and I bought new shades for my ginger jar lamps and added a navy trim to them.

I love the white mirror, Ange, gosh it is huge!

I can relate to spray paint up the nose, although today I just spent $83 on a respirator mask, I figured I better have one to go with my flash spray gun! I don't like wearing it much though, it is bloody hot with it on!

xx Karen

They all look fantastic painted - no contest, a 100% change for the better. Jinx I have the same mirror as the first you showed, only smaller. I did a post on one awhile ago.
Ange, you must put a mask on and protect your nasal orifices (I'm saying orificees). This is an official OH&S warning! x

I love white. Absolutely love it! I do like the second option though - without the white one...I dunno. It just pops. But the white still looks great!! I did that sort of thing last summer, went on a white rampage! Ha ha!

Ah the joys of a can of spray paint. Don't you just love how it tranforms things so beautifully and in an instant. I like the white mirror - and I'm a big fan of things like this leaning too. The whole room looks great!

I love the white mirror, but the other one adds so much texture to your beautiful room (looks directly out of House Beautiful!)How about the best of both worlds, switch them around every once in a while.

Hi Ange, sorry I'm going to have to be boring and say I like both looks and altho' I have flicked between the two for a while cannot say one is better than the other :)
You find the most amazing treasures down your way - I may need to venture further afield with my op shopping. Michelle

That room looks beautiful! I am like a crazy woman with a can of white spray paint. I get a glazed over look and start walking around the house looking for things to change. I think my husband becomes frightened...lol...It's amazing what a little bit of paint can do!!!

Definitely the white, Ange! It's not the first thing you see when you look at the photo, and I like that. It is revealed as your eye travels around - hidden surprises like that always make me smile!
Love the new lamp shades, too.

Lovely mirrors! Don't forget to mask up girlfriend.
By the way, I love your ginger vase lamps. Did you buy them as is or did you kit them up yourself? I have two ginger jar/vases that I'd like to turn into lamps but would like to get some tips.
