Chair Make-over

It seems like forever since my last post. We have had copious viruses invade our computer and apparently I have been sending all of my facebook friends questionable comments with very dubious video links attached! So we ended up bying a new computer, which has been on the cards for a while anyway, and now all appears to be good.

With so much time away from the computer I have been able to get some projects finished, lol.

I scored these chairs off ebay for under $100, painted them up and reupholstered them. They are sold so I am really pleased that my hobby is finally making me a little $$

I've included a sneak peak of my current project, a before shot that is. You could be waiting a while for the after now that I am back blogging!

It's so good to be back and I have soooo much catching up to do of all your wonderful posts.

Great chairs, no wonder they sold. My husband taught me a trick to stop hackers trying to get to the computer. I have been getting it from so comment areas. Control Alt Delete. This should bring up Windows security then hit task manager, then end task. This will close whatever internet window you were in. I hope you do not have anymore problems with your computer. And you did not send me any bad stuff. Have a wonderful weekend.

Oh Heaven! I LOVE your chairs (thank small mercies for pesky viruses hey? ;-), they would be just great around my dining room table. How do you sell once you've finished? Do you put them back on Ebay or sell them locally? I used to hold private sales in chateaux or at a friend's house who had built up a big clientèle after 15 years of selling up market homewares. Do you do the same?

Thanks for stopping by to see my pinks. I would think sub tropical you would be able to grow a lot. Guess that's why you like chair so much, no water necessary. Enjoy the rest of your day. I can't wait to see the next project.

Ange the chairs look fantastic ! I should be staying home painting furniture too today. But with two small children the beach beacons. What paint do you use on your furniture ? Sad about the viruses, my camera has been out of action for 3 weeks now , so Im limited on my blogging choices. Hope you get to Burleigh beach later.
